Sebenarnya aku baru nonton film ini bahkan baru mengetahuinya, padahal film ini release pada tahun 2009. Aku baru mengetahui film ini saat praktikum Bahasa Inggris di kampus and I think this movie is so interest...
Film ini menceritakan tentang seorang pria bernama Clyde Shelton yang kehilangan istri dan anaknya yang tewas dibunuh secara brutal oleh perampok bernama Darby.
Ia mengajukan perkara ini ke pengadilan, namun seorang jaksa bernama Nick Rice membuat kesepakatan dengan si pembunuh sehingga beberapa tahun kemudian Darby bebas. Clyde merasa hukum itu tidak adil sehingga ia memutuskan untuk mendapatkan keadilan dengan tangannya sendiri. Targetnya bukan hanya Darby tapi semua orang yang terlibat menangani kasus tersebut.... 
Penasaraan??? Sama saya juga penasaran soalnya belum sempet download karena lagi irit beli pulsa modem :P

Title     : Law Abiding Cititzen

Tema  : Frustrated man decides to take justice into his own hand after plea bargain sets one of his family’s killers free. He targets not only the killer but also the district attorney and the others involved in the deal.

Plot      : Clyde Shelton Family was brutally murdered. The ones responsible were caught. However, because of improper procedure, the D. A., Nick Rice only has circumstantial evidence. So, he decides to get one of them to testify against the other. When Shelton learn of this, he was not happy. Ten years later, the one who was convicted is being executed but something goes wrong; his execution goes awry and he suffers. They learn that someone tampered with the machine. And the other one is found dead, killed in a gruesome manner. Rice (Nick Rice) suspect Shelton, so he has him picked up. At first, Shelton agrees to a plea agreement with Rice, but changes his mind. It appears, that Shelton is nit done, it appears he blames the whole system and is declaring war on it going after everyone involved with his families case. So Rice has to stop him but Shelton is way ahead of him.

Cast    : 

·         Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler), a man who his families was brutally murdered, he disappointed because murderer who killing his wife and daughter free. He feels betrayed by Nick Rice and the Justice System at large. So he decides to take justice into his own hand.

·         Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), he is a prosecutor who investigate murder case Clyde families. He doesn’t want risk his conviction rate, so he decides to make deal with the murderer (Darby) who may have murdered Clyde’s daughter in order to ensure the that sentence for the other criminal. He found problem when Clyde feels betrayed by him.

·         Clarence Darby,   murderer who killing Clyde families. He released after a few years. He was killed by Clyde.

·         Rupert Ames (Josh Stewart), he is Darby accomplice. Although, he said that he never killed anybody, he is found guilty and sentenced to death.

Moral message           :  The lesson imparted by the movies is ‘Don’t make deals with murderers’
